Pay the $80 entry fee for your band's participation. This goes towards

Open up that email and click on the verification link, which will bring you back to the web site. |

Now you can Login to the Bands Only section of the website using your Band's name and the password you created, and fill in a brief profile for your band i.e. a
description of your band, upload a photo, your band website if you have one and band Facebook page. Please also complete the details for each band member, Their name, instrument played, email address, cell number and Facebook link.
This is very important as we send event updates and information to ALL band members to ensure everyone has all the details. |

After registration you are then confirmed to participate in the 2026 event. If you are in agreement with our standard terms and conditions
(which can be seen by clicking on the link contained in the original registration email), you are ready to go. You can continue to add more content to your profile at anytime.
You will receive advance email and/or TXT notification of your first venue / date and regular updates from that point forward. Good Luck in the competition! |
theaudience.co.nz is now the official digital media partner for the Demon Energy Battle of the Bands 2015 National Championship.
As part of theaudience's involvement there will be a separate WILD CARD voting system that will give one band the opportunity to be voted into the National Finals, regardless of their placing in the earlier rounds of the events.
All bands competing in this year's event must have a profile on theaudience, your registration for the Demon Energy Battle of the Bands 2015 National Championship is not complete until you have completed your profile on theaudience.co.nz, so make sure you're signed up ASAP.
This is hugely beneficial to your band as theaudience is a fantastic portal for NZ Music, with a large amount of site visitors discovering new NZ Music as well as some great funding opportunities.

How the voting for the Wildcard entry will work. Just get people to go to your song page(s), and hit the orange "Vote" button. You can also get people to play your song in full and post on social media via the "Share" button to further boost your votes. The team at theaudience are on hand to liaise with the bands directly, letting you know where your band sits in terms of votes, and helping you with tactics to boost your numbers and increase their chances of winning.
